the lovely weekend is almost over. what a pity. a 100 tonnes of reluctance to head back to work tomorrow. roar!

got the whole house to myself this weekend! and it's wonderful to have it empty! (ignoring the dead cockroach and scuttling lizards)

knocked off at 3pm from work yesterday, after a nice lunch with the boss and the colleagues at, of all places, crystal jade. which was when we got the great news, couldn't help grinning and knowing it's worth it to hang in there 2 more months. celebrated my colleague's birthday too, with a small chocolate cake cutting.

and dinner was with my family at beach road steamboat! still an unusual xmas dinner venue, but the place where we cut the mango cake was even weirder (beach road hawker centre). ah well, mum's birthday, so long as she's happy!

then came back to tamp to have coffee and movie, before getting ambushed. lol stalker *ahem. 'hello stranger' was funny, but a bit too draggy at the end. and i've no idea why i cried. boo.

mahjonged with the lame, the tall and the emo ones today, and i lost money again. kns. and watched a damn cock stupid show. wahlao LOL.

and since the folks aren't in, over this two days i've gotta part-time as maid. clothes today, floor tomorrow.

back to work

week of 13-19 dec 2010

hi, i'm back!! super tired at the moment, with no idea of how to survive the next week at work. but since it's still sunday, i shall not care!

attended a 4 days training course in KL, and we were supposed to fly there on the 4pm flight. but my manager (aka lao ban niang) wasnt able to make it in time. so we forfeited that flight and booked the 6pm one. super gancheong, she's actually worse than my mum (i never thought that was possible).

reached 2 hours later at sunway pyramid, and spent half an hour negotiating for corporate rate. it's just the first of 5 tiring days, cause we spent the remainder of the evening looking for a massage parlour located somewhere lbn can't recall.

hotel breakfast was only ok, enough variety but only the breads were worth any mention. and then it was time to hit the books.

course included a lot of refreshments, and then lbn kept finding food to eat.


xmas deco were so nice in the complex!

memorable things of the trip include:
(1) thai massage that made me feel like the masseuse was exercising me.
(2) clubbing (my first time ever) - lotsa smoke, lotsa alcohol, nothing fun actually. it just boiled down to a feeling of extreme sleep depravity and tiredness after sleeping at 3am.
(3) xmas-y nails~

chionged home to catch 2 hours of shut-eye before meeting the girls to go chalet. played mahjong and had our xmas exchange. this year's lot-drawing was the fastest. lol got earphones from yj, and ty got us xmas ornaments from eastern europe, kl got us keychains from KL. pictures to be posted when ty sends them. =)

stayed awake the whole night to play monopoly deal and loot. and 3 remaining survivors chatted till daybreak. cleaned up and checked out to eat KFC breakfast.

and then i was asleep for 5 hours. (finally got my piggyness back, in KL i slept poorly!)

family going to genting on 24-26 dec 2010, and malacca in mid-jan. when i already have this much passport chops this year. so i shall not accumulate any more for this year, but only go for the malacca trip next year. the omg thing is it's going to be the extended maternal side family.

must bring luggage to office tomorrow, hitch a ride to airport. the dreaded LCCT again damn AirAsia.

weekday dinner makes me happy, and makes the week more bearable. so hard to meet everyone nowadays though.

TGIF! the originally unwelcome KL trip is now a great chance to break away from the tedium of work. i think i saw like 5 different customers within 2 days. and been at desk for like 3hours total.

coming to the end of week 48

happily fled the office at half past 5 on friday. did some shopping and bought lip gloss + nice papers for writing letters.=)now all i gotta do is buy xmas cards, and start sending them. haha oh ya, one more present to settle.

yesterday was so much fun! the long awaited mahjong session with lt, hong and wj. Mac deluxe breakfast lovingly takeaway-ed and then bubble tea. plus the usual lame antics 高抬贵手 + jay chou songs until we shag lol. i really missed them! =) even though i still lost money, but not important la. haha

then gy came to drive us to 85! yayness, cause that meant we don't have to go through the hassle of public transport. hj joined us, despite the impromptu-ness (we saved him from matchmaking LOL). and the best part was that, we got to sing FOC from 9pm to 1am. haha songs on demand: jackie cheung and jackie chan, techno alex to. hilariously funny walao!

and now the day of rest is ending. wrote one letter, packed my table and uploaded photos. the weekend was so good i really wish it's not monday tomorrow, and that i ain't a working adult :( then i could care less about being shag at 2am

some things are not said because there's bound to be hurt and nothing good. and sometimes, it's the things that aren't said that are the ones you should be listening out for.
